Grandpa Norris' Baked Beans
My Grandfather Norris was a cook in the logging camps in Oregon. This was one of his great recipes that he later adapted to canned items. Its a wonderful recipe for family reunions or picnics.

Preheat oven to 350*
1- 7 pound 2 ounce Can Vandecampe Baked Beans
1- 32 ounce tomato sauce
3 to 4 large white onions, chopped
3/4 c. brown sugar
7 slices smoked bacon, chopped
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients in a deep baking dish.
Bake at 350 for 2 hours, stir occasionally.
Cool for 1/2 before serving.

Grandma Hazel's Pineapple Cheesecake
My Grandma Hazel was big on great food, great sewing and simply great company. One of the recipes that she really loved to make from her quilting bee is this recipe.
Pineapple Cheesecake Supreme
GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST:
3 C. Crushed Graham Crackers(set aside 1/2 cup crushed crumbs to top dessert with)
1/2 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 c. sugar
Mix all of these ingredience together and press into a 9x15 inch pan, set aside.
PINEAPPLE CHEESECAKE FILLING:
2 Cups whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks -set aside.
1 pkg lemon jello
1 cup boiling water
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup crushed, drained pineapple.
Disolve jello in boiling water, set aside to cool to a syrupy stage. In a large mixing bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Slowly add lemon jello until mixed thoroughly and crushed pineapple. Then gently fold in whipped cream until mixed thorougly. Pour into crumb lined pan and sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Refrigerate overnight.
